Garrett & Megan Matsuyama
Garrett and Megan Matsuyama have been involved in New Life Church since the very beginning, growing in the church with their families. In 2008, the two married and joined our church staff to partner with Pastor Jason and Ashley Kimbrow in NLC Conway’s college ministry. In 2014, when the Kimbrows moved to Fayetteville to plant a New Life campus there, the Matsuyamas felt compelled to make the journey with them and are associate pastors.
They love connecting with families throughout Northwest Arkansas and seeing the local church grow. Garrett and Megan have three children—Maddox, Zion, and Rei.
Austin & Mindy Paxton
Austin and Mindy Paxton started attending New Life Church in 2009 while they were students at the University of Central Arkansas. The two started serving in Conway’s college ministry, and, after they married in 2012, Mindy joined the church staff as an assistant to Pastors Jason and Ashley Kimbrow.
When the Kimbrows moved to launch a campus in Fayetteville in 2014, the Paxtons followed. Now, they pastor students of all ages and love getting to see God move in their lives. Mindy continues to assist the Kimbrows as well, and is the administrator of the campus.
Rick & Michelle Bezet
Rick Bezet is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Church of Arkansas. Pastor Rick’s heart and motivation is always to see the next person encounter Jesus. The vision of New Life reflects this passion as we grow throughout our state and country.
Rick and his lovely wife, Michelle, have been married for over 20 years and have four children and a new grandson, Jack. They live in Conway, Arkansas.
Jason & Ashley Kimbrow
Jason and Ashley Kimbrow have been pastors at New Life Church since 2004, when they launched the church’s first college-age ministry. Their heart for students continued to grow as they began overseeing all student ministries at New Life.
In 2014, Jason and Ashley took on a different role with the launch of our Fayetteville location. They are in awe of how much God has done in their church in such a short time. The Kimbrows have three kids who are always keeping them on their toes—McAllister, Pierce, and Eve.
