Brenda Ramirez
Brenda has been a member of New Life Church in Fort Smith since its beginning, when she was involved with a Spanish-speaking service that later merged with the NLC Fort Smith family. Brenda now assists Pastor Marcus and Brook Brown and shares responsibilities of daily church operations.
She has a huge passion for children’s ministry, and her heart for both of the Fort Smith’s campuses is for people to grow bold in their faith to reach their community around them.
Emily Langford
Emily decided to make New Life Church her home after attending the church’s ten-year anniversary event, Decade, in 2011. Now, she serves as an administrator for the Fort Smith South Dallas campus, where she plans events, runs social media, and drinks a lot of black coffee.
Her greatest desire for both Fort Smith campuses is to see all of their members, especially high school students, come to personally know Jesus and pursue the dreams God has given them.
Brandon & Jessica Cotten
Brandon and Jessica Cotten have been part of New Life Church in Fort Smith since the beginning. Although Brandon now serves as the lead worship pastor, the two have filled many roles throughout the church’s history. Their favorite thing—besides their kids and pet goldendoodle—is to see people develop their spiritual gifts and use them to spread the story of Jesus.
Nick & Megan Bertin
Nick and Megan Bertin serve as the Real Life and Young Adult pastors for Fort Smith South Dallas. The couple has a desire to see every teenager and young adult establish a genuine relationship with God, as well as join a community of believers to live life with.
Megan also serves as the campus’ Little Life pastor. Nick and Megan started attending New Life Church while in college in Conway and decided to move to Fort Smith in 2014 to join the team there. They have been married since 2010 and have two children—Judah and Zoe.
Sam & Sarah Hansen
In 2010, Sarah Hansen attended a service at New Life Church’s Fort Smith campus. Soon afterwards, she met her husband, Sam, who moved from Wisconsin to intern at New Life. The couple now leads the church’s Kid Life and Four Twelve ministries, teaching the Word of God to students of all ages. Together, they share a vision to see a young generation of world-changers experience God’s goodness and discover His plan for their lives.
Rick & Michelle Bezet
Rick Bezet is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Church of Arkansas. Pastor Rick’s heart and motivation is always to see the next person encounter Jesus. The vision of New Life reflects this passion as we grow throughout our state and country.
Rick and his lovely wife, Michelle, have been married for over 20 years and have four children and a new grandson, Jack. They live in Conway, Arkansas.
Marcus & Brook Brown
Marcus and his wife, Brook, pastor one of two New Life campuses in Fort Smith. They launched the South Dallas campus in 2009, and the campus has since multiplied. Marcus also coaches church planters across the US through the Association of Related Churches (ARC).
He is one of the all-time greatest basketball players at Chuck E. Cheese’s, and Brook and he have three amazing children: Ashlyn, Austin, and Ainsley.
